MoneyWiz 2 - Personal Finance App Reviews

This is a great little app. I was skeptical at first. I was thinking there would be no way this app could replace Quickens laptop software. But is has.

Not that simple as I would like, but when you get the hold of it,its awesome!

I already paid for the app, but had I known Id have to pay a monthly fee just to have the app sync to my bank accounts, I never wouldve paid for the app in the first place!

Guys, the app is wonderful... It only needs some improvement in reporting to be similar to MSMoney... For example I would like to have a report which shows Monthly income and expenses reported by categories of income and expenses respectively, and showing the net outflow or inflow.. This app, and due to its simplicity and sync option, removed all fights with my wife which was happening due to not sending me emails about her expenses so that I book on MSMoney... Now she has the app, and I have the app, we can book simultaneously our family daily expenses... Thanks s lot for MoneyWiz, and I have to have improved reporting and most important yeh split transaction between income and expense and transfer... Regards

After trying many money/finance apps, Ive finally settled on MoneyWiz as the best one out there. Does everything it says on the tin and is very easy to use with a ton of features.

I started on this as a YNAB replacement. But after a few months, Im uninstalling and going back to ynab until I find something better. This app is quite buggy, despite what appears to be active development and (futile) responses from support. Also, the interface can use a facelift -- not a trivial thing if you want to make a habit of keeping track of expenses. Final point: some of the reviews of this app are a little bit much, no? I truly hope my cynicism is misplaced.

This is the app I use every day. Its the best simple money management app Ive found around and I love that it syncs with their companion app on my Mac. Highly recommended to anyone out there.

Great App! Using for two years, keep getting better with age. Able to keep transaction up to date as they happen. Always have a current balance in real time. Balance always up to date on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Thanks keep up the good work!!!!!

Ive had budgeting issues for years until I discovered this app. Well worth the purchase to stay on top of my finances and never overdrawing my accounts again with the forecast feature. I can see at any day up to a year in advance what my account balance will be and make adjustments to my budget ahead of time when I see a future negative balance on my account. I no longer keep a paper checkbook register; this has replaced all my paper forms of budgeting, forecasting and account registers. I set up a reoccurring payment for groceries and gas so it goes into my forecast as well; that has helped a lot to keep me staying within a budget. The ONLY thing that I am not happy with is that in order to use this app on my MacBook so all my devices are synced, I have to purchase the app again which is about $20. In the meantime, I only purchased the iPhone version which is much cheaper and it syncs to my iPad at no additional cost. Other than that, this app is AWESOME!!!! :) Update***4/15/16- I have used this app for almost a year and I am still loving it and I never bounce my checkbook anymore :). Its let me plan ahead of time with my finances. The best app for the money compared to other apps which not all do the balance forecasting which is a lifesaver for me. I went ahead and bought the Mac version of this app. Worth every penny to have it sync on all my devices :). I never have issues with either versions. I wish I could give this 10 stars! :)

Its good app and it does what I need it to. I just it wasnt so connected to the cloud.

App doesnt sync between I devices. App doesnt connect to bank. No support. Other simple general questions not answered. I paid over $8 for this.

Used to a great app from a great company with great support. Somewhere along the way it all stopped. Now syncing app among devices doesnt work. Downloading from bank doesnt work. And its $4.99 for the then $4.99 a month just for downloading from bank which gives incorrect balanced by the way. I had six different support questions. Just got an email from developer saying to stop sending 1,000 emails! Can I give this app no stars??

I use this on both my phone and my Mac, and its great. Seamless, easy to use, and their improvements keep making it stronger.

Ive tried not all but a lot of financial apps and by far MoneyWiz just gets the job done perfectly. Take control of your money and make yourself a budget with MR. Very simple and no learning curve to it.
